Kalo mo upgrade sendiri kudu modalin kabel data yang non-ori (kabel flash) supaya hapenya bisa kedetek ama Winswup updater-nya. Updater-nya bisa diperoleh di sini:

Donlot yang versi 56. Kemudian konek hape ke kompi pake kabel flash, matikan hape dan aktifkan updater-nya. Skip pre-check dan post-check sebelum tekan start, kemudian klik pelan tombol ignition pada hape (jgn sampe nyala), dan tunggu sampe proses selesai.

Satu hal yang perlu aku tekankan mengenai update dgn Winswup untuk semua seri, bahwa penggunaan Winswup untuk update berada di luar konteks garansi yang dijanjikan oleh pihak Siemens.

Untuk yang garansinya sudah lewat, mungkin tidak akan jadi masalah. Tadi untuk seri-65 maupun 75 yang masih bergaransi, akan hangus garansinya (kalo ketahuan sama SSCC).

Walaupun update dgn Winswup boleh dibilang aman, tapi bila salah satu elemennya tidak terpenuhi (spt kabel flash, handset/kompi ada problem), tetap beresiko matot (mati total). Jadi sebelum melaksanakan proses tersebut, ada baiknya menyadari terlebih dahulu resiko yang ada. WASPADALAH! WASPADALAH!
